SCHERZO, Chamber music

Scherzo was born, almost without being aware of it at that moment, in the spring of 2007, in the Conservatory of Music of Valladolid (Spain), and later it consolidated itself at the Escuela de Excelencia Musical, as we all were part of the Joven Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León (JOSCyL).

We wanted to take one step further in what had become our way of life, so after finishing our studies of Professional Education in Valladolid we continued developing our musical skills in High Schools of Music around Spain: High School of Music of Salamanca (COSCyL), High School of Music of the Basque Country (Musikene), or the Madrid Royal High School of Music. Despite the distances that separate us, our group became a bond, which made us grow musically together.

To this day, Scherzo has established itself as a professional chamber music group, to which we devote all our energy and dedication, always seeking the highest level of thoroughness in our musical interpretation.
